I'm a senior data engineer. 9 years across fintech and energy building them: data platforms and batch and streaming pipelines on GCP with Airflow and BigQuery, and the DevOps discipline that keeps them running, CI/CD and IaC included.

These days I own the GCP side of the stack at ABACUS digital: a landing zone built from scratch, solo, in Terraform and Terragrunt. Network, IAM, security, everything underneath. CI/CD keeps the infrastructure as consistent as the code, and I'm now building the new data platform on top of it.

I optimize for maintainability and repeatability: tests that fail first, automation so no one has to remember, and patterns that make the next one cheaper. bakefile and zerv came from the same thinking, glue I kept rebuilding until it became open source.
